One Direction- One Thing

Once again there's been a long pause in my posts, but I've been busy with school and waiting for normal weather and well.. other things. Among which is discovering how cool One Direction is. All of my friends think that I've gone crazy, but my little sister is very happy about the fact that I'll voluntarily listen to their songs and watch the video diaries on Youtube. Their songs are just too catchy and their looks too cute. And who could resist British accents?

All the UK influence and inspiration has transferred to my outfit too, which is a very Alexa-Chungish combination of jeans, sweater and a collared shirt. Added my Hurts tote to still remind me (and people on the street) of my actual favourite band and that I have quite a great taste in music, in fact.

Jälle on mu postitustesse pikem paus tulnud, olen tegelenud kooli, normaalse ilma ootamise ja muude asjadega.. Mille hulgas on ka avastus, et One Direction on päris lahe. Kõik mu sõbrad arvavad, et ma olen täiesti lolliks läinud, samas mu väike õde on selle üle väga õnnelik, et ma nüüd vabatahtlikult nende laule kuulan ja Youtube'st videopäevikuid olen nõus vaatama. Aga nende laulud on lihtsalt nii kaasahaaravad ja nad ise näevad üle mõistuse armsad välja. Ning ei tasu unustada briti aktsente..

Kogu see inglise mõju ja inspiratsioon peegeldub ka mu riietuses, mis on vägagi alexachungilik kombinatsioon teksadest, kampsunist ja kraega pluusist. Igaks juhuks kandsin ka oma Hurtsi kotti, et endale (ja kõikidele teistele) meelde tuletada, et tegelikult on nemad mu lemmikbänd ja mul on tegelikult päris hea muusikamaitse.

Take the crown

I usually dress in clothes on the more classical and basic side and you can never really go wrong with a blue-jeans-white-shirt kind of vibe, no? Especially when paired with an even more classic piece like a nude trenchcoat. I also tend to spice up my outfits with little fun details. Tn this case, the embellished jeans, black ribbon and that cute crown ring.

I also really like it, when my post titles have a meaning behind them. Today I very bravely didn't use a certain line from a certain Lana Del Rey song as the title, but instead I referred to my long-time favourite singer's new album. And in true fangirl spirit, I painted my nails blue to match the album cover. And no, I haven't bought the album yet, but I'm kind of hoping that Santa will surprise me with that.

Tavaliselt kaldun riietudes kõige klassikalisemate esemete poole ja olgem ausad, siniste teksade ja valge pluusi kombinatsiooniga ei saa just väga mööda panna. Eriti veel, kui neid kanda koos lihtsa beeži mantliga. Veel meeldib mulle oma riietuse juurde lisada väikeseid põnevaid detaile nagu pükste litritega allääred, must lipsuke ja mu armas krooniga sõrmus.

Samuti meeldib mulle, kui mu postituste pealkirjadel on mingi tagamõte. Pidin ennast väga tagasi hoidma, et mitte nimetada seda postitust ühe Lana Del Rey laulu repliigi järgi. Panin hoopis nimeks oma pikaajalise lemmiklaulja uue plaadi nime. Ja tõelise fännina värvisin veel küüned siniseks, et plaadiümbrisega kokku sobiks. Kogumikku ennast mul veel ei ole, aga loodan, et Jõuluvana aitab mind selles osas välja.

Snakes on a blog

This could very well be a post complaining about the horrible weather we have had, but after all, things have turned to the brighter side. The surprise batch of snow that we had last week (and that's captured on these pictures) is gone and we have rainy autumn instead. For some reason I like it more. Anyway, I'll try to keep myself away from the ever-fascinating weather topics and focus on the more important things- these pants.

They were sent to me by the lovely people at Sugarlips and immediately after they arrived, I wanted to wear them. My mother even said that they look like Uma Thurman's pants from Pulp Fiction, which doesn't make these any less cooler. I love these python stripes on the sides and on the waist, they make a simple pair so much more fun. And notice how the tips of my boots are a similar texture? Like they were made to be worn together!

I decided to pair them with my new favourite sweater from the last post and other simple black-and-white pieces. Another little surprise is the bracelet on my wrist, which has skulls on it. It was sent to me by Rings&Tings and at first i was really clueless of how to wear it. But the rebel I am, paired two skulls with python print. The brooch is a family heirloom, so the perfect special thing to top off this look.

Ma parem ei hakka ilma üle kurtma, sest olukorda see tegelikult paremaks ju ei tee. Üritan hoopis keskenduda palju olulisemale, milleks on need imelised püksid!

Need püksid saadeti mulle Sugarlipsi toredate inimeste poolt ja loomulikult ei suutnud ma ära oodata esimest võimalust, et neid kanda! Mu ema veel mainis, et need meenutavad Uma Thurmani pükse Pulp Fictionist, mis muutis need veel lahedamaks. Mulle nii meeldivad need ussimustrilised triibud külgedel ja vööosas, need muudavad tavalised mustad püksid kõvasti põnevamaks. Ja isegi mu saapaninad sobivad pükstega nii nagu need olekski loodud koos kantama.

Kandsin pükse oma uue lemmikkampsuniga eelmisest postitusest ja lihtsate must-valgete asjadega. Väike üllatus on ka mu käevõru. See saadeti mulle Rings&Tingsist ning kuna sellel on pealuud, olin ma alguses päris nõutu, kuidas seda kanda. Siiski, kuna ma juba nii mässumeelne olen, siis otsustasin ussimustri ja pealuud kokku sobitada. Ning mu pross on peaaegu peresisene pärandus, seega täiesti võrratu ehe, millega kogu komplekt kokku võtta.
